Redmi Note 9: Design & Display
As I said earlier, Redmi Note 9 Looks like its elder siblings, Redmi Note 9 Pro and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. However, the change here is Physical Fingerprint Sensor on the back panel and Front camera moved to the Top-left Corner.
Talking about Display, Redmi Note 9 features 6.53-inch Full HD+ DotDisplay with 2340 x 1080 resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. The Display is also having Anti-oil and anti-fingerprint protective coating.
Redmi Note 9: Hardware & Software
Talking about Hardware, The Redmi Note 9 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC coupled with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Built-in Storage, Which can be expandable via Dedicated MicroSD Card Slot. “The Redmi Note 9 is the First Smartphone to launch with MediaTek Helio G85 Chipset In India”
Talking about Software, Redmi Note 9 runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10. I was expecting it to run on MIUI 12, But Hopefully, the device will receive MIUI 12 Update soon.
Redmi Note 9: Camera
Talking about the camera, Redmi Note 9 features Quad-camera set-up at the Rear which Includes 48MP(f/1.79) Primary Sensor, 8MP(f/2.2, FOV 118.2-degree) Ultra-wide lens, 2MP(2cm) Macro-lens and 2MP Depth Sensor.
On the Front, Redmi Note 9 is having a 13MP Selfie-shooter.
Redmi Note 9: Battery & Connectivity
Under the Hood, Redmi Note 9 Equipped with Massive 5,020mAh Battery with the Support of 18W Fast-charging. However, Xiaomi includes a 22.5W Charger in the Box, which is weird. The Device also supports 9W reverse charging.
Talking about Connectivity, Redmi Note 9 Supports Dual VoLTE, Dual-band WIFI, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm Audio jack, USB Type-C Port and Dedicated MicroSD Card Slot.
